Vanessa Parrish is the proprietor of Encore Hair Boutique.


With the Lord's guidance, Vanessa Parrish a Senior cosmetologist, educator and stylist for over 26 years was given the vision for Encore and what they were purposed by God to be. The ELITE Not CARNAL but ORDAINED REVELATION of EXCELLENCE is Encore. Through obedience and discipline, Vanessa saw the vision become a reality in June of 2000. Mrs. Parrish's experience brings a wealth of industry knowledge to Encore and its staff. The salon is divinely designed as a place of refuge for its clients, and we desire to serve in such a way that our clients feel good about themselves from the inside out.

I have been coming to Encore Hair Boutique to get my hair done since they opened. I followed my stylist Sharon and Vanessa from the previous shop where they worked when Vanessa opened Encore and I have been there ever since. The atmosphere of the salon is relaxing, welcoming, and they do some fierce hair. When I had two daughters, I started bringing them to Encore and they still get their hair done there now that are adults and teenagers. We have all had our hair done by at least 4 of the other stylists in the shop and they all are good. It’s been 25 years that I have been coming to Encore and I never had a problem or issue with my hair nor my daughters hair. I will follow the shop wherever they may go. P.S. - My husband likes it there too! He likes to come in and speak to everyone and has the nerve to say that my hairstylist is “his” hairstylist. And he doesn’t even get his hair done there!! He just loves the staff and the atmosphere.
